Ecofiltro’s journey began in Guatemala with a powerful belief: everyone deserves access to clean, safe drinking water.
In 2018, Ariana Pizzatti and Guillem Bordas brought this vision to Europe, driven by a shared ambition to challenge the conventional water filtration market and create something different: a sustainable, beautifully designed product that could inspire a more conscious way of living.
Combining Ariana’s deep knowledge of Ecofiltro’s origins and mission with Guillem’s engineering and industrial expertise, they founded Ecofiltro Europe in Barcelona.
Their vision went beyond simply introducing a product to a new market. They set out to reinvent the experience of drinking water at home, combining the original Guatemalan filtration technology with contemporary European design, natural materials and a strong commitment to reducing plastic.
Through continuous innovation, product development and local production in Spain, they have built a brand that brings together functionality, aesthetics and environmental responsibility, offering a meaningful alternative to bottled water and conventional plastic-based filtration systems.
Today, Ecofiltro Europe stands as a bridge between two worlds, united by one purpose: making sustainable choices easier, more beautiful and part of everyday life. What began as an idea has grown into a mission to inspire change, one home and one glass of water at a time.

Since 2020, we have brought reliable water‑filtration technology to households throughout the European Union and surrounding regions. Our story began in the heart of Guatemala, and today we proudly support communities throughout the Americas. We reach homes in Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Uruguay, and many more, bringing our mission of health and sustainable hydration to diverse families while reducing the use of single-use plastics.
Africa
Ecofiltro has expanded its mission to the African continent with a presence in Tanzania.
